This is a proposal for a tsunami evacuation tower to be built on a site containing a parking lot currently. It consists of 14000 SF of evacuation space that doubles as activity space during non-emergency situations, and 7000 SF of enclosed space to be used by local businesses as well as a space for a new government administration office. The height of the building reaches 52 ft at its highest point, making it the tallest building in the area, creating a landmark of high ground for residents and visiting tourists in the area. the magnitude of the building is crucial to the functionality of the building due to the incredible lack of egress for tsunami evacuation, where residents and visitors to the area have 1 road to follow to get out of the inundation zone
